Dnow is the event that you look forward to every year. Don’t miss the biggest and best Dnow in the history of Lone Oak FBC.

Our camp pastor for the week will be Rob Turner. Rob is the Director of Discipleship and Training at The Bridge Church in Nashville, TN. Rob is a gifted leader and communicator of the Gospel. Rob has been preaching at student camps and conferences across the country for over 20 years. He is married to his wife Angela and has three kids. Rob is one of the best and one of our favorite youth speakers.

Music will be led by Heartsong. Heartsong is a worship band from Cedarville University in Cedarville, OH. They exists to communicate the livable reality of the gospel as seen through genuine worship. Whether at a large conference or small youth event, HeartSong teams intentionally balance music, Scripture, and life stories to engage audiences in a way that brings glory to God and leads others to worship.

TRIBE WARS ARE BACK!

Compete all weekend long on your TRIBE. You’ll be placed on the Troop (Purple), Army (Green), Pack (Blue), or the Pride (Red). We’ll play team games all weekend to earn points for your TRIBE. Be on the lookout for some classics like Havoc Ball and Shankapotomus along with some new games as well. Be sure to rep your team colors and get ready for war.

Most importantly, we will spend time together each day in worship and studying God’s Word. Rob will lead us through 4 sessions based on the theme – Prodigal- based on the passage “The Prodigal Son” found in Luke 15.

Lost. We’ve all been there. And we’ll probably be there again.

Jesus was pointing to that truth when He told the story of the Prodigal Son (Luke 15:11–32). When He compared the brothers in this story, Jesus showed us that there are two kinds of lost people: those who know they are lost and those who don’t. He wanted us to know that there’s more than one way to be lost and wandering from Him. Thankfully, He also gave us a way to come back home; not through rule-following or self-righteousness, but by receiving our heavenly Father’s unconditional love.

Wherever you’re wandering, are you ready to come home?

  • Session 1: The Runaway
  • Session 2: The Father
  • Session 3: The Hard-Hearted
